If you happen to be in London this coming Sunday 21st March and fancy a signed copy of the Kick-Ass graphic novel and movie companion book why not pop into Forbidden Plant Megastore (Shaftesbury Avenue) where series creator Mark Millar and artist John Romita Jr are holding a special in-store signing between 2 and 3pm. If that isn't enough, the first seventy five customers will receive two tickets to the star-studded London premiere the following evening in Leicester Square!
Kick-Ass tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. Teaming up with fellow vigilantes including the 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz), her father Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) and fledgling super hero Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), they attempt to take down local mob boss Frank D'Amico (Mark Strong).
