Behind the scenes of Attack the Block with Joe Cornish
Joe Cornish (he of The Adam and Joe Show fame) makes his theatrical debut as writer-director of Attack the Block, a sci-fi comedy that sees a teenage street gang fighting to repel an alien invasion of their South London council estate. The film is executive produced by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) and stars Jodie Whittaker (St. Trinian's), Luke Treadaway (Clash of the Titans), Jumayn Hunter (Eden Lake) and Franz Drameh (Hereafter) alongside newcomers Alex Esmail, John Boyega, Leeon Jones and Simon Howard, not to mention long-time Wright collaborator Nick Frost.
