Indie zom-com Zombie Drugs looking to give you the giggles

Zombie DrugsIf you're a fan of zomedies then you may want to keep an eye on Zombie Drugs, a new U.S. indie comedy/horror from writer-director Alex Ballar and producer Beau Nelson. Described as 'Spun meets Pineapple Express with Zombies", the film centres on a pair of slackers who set out to produce and sell a designer drug that offers the perfect high, but in doing so they embark on a ride that they, nor the rest of the world, are prepared for.

Shot entirely on the Canon 5D digital SLR camera with an estimated budget of $200,000, Zombie Drugs is currently prepping for release in North America. Have a look at the synopsis and short promotional clip "Initial Side Effects", then head over to the official website and Facebook page to find out more.

"Vinny and Sebastion, two burnouts, going nowhere in small town suburbia and still riding the high of their high-school days, start a business doing the only thing they have ever excelled at... drugs. With the help of a jealous girlfriend and a rich goth chick, Vinny and Sebastion take on the mob, angry, geeky, frat-boys, and zombies in the search of the perfect high."
