The movie awards season will soon be upon us and while films like 127 Hours, Black Swan, Inception, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit and The Way Back will be vying for that coveted Best Picture nod at the Academy Awards, here at Flickering Myth we're hoping for a little success of our own. A few weeks back we were delighted to hear that we'd been put forward for TheMovie411 Blog Awards 2010 and with the initial voting stage now over we find ourselves up for awards in two categories! We're down to the final five for both the Best Sci-Fi Blog and The Gold Movie Blog Award and would like to thank everyone who took the time to nominate us in the first round of voting.
Of course it would be nice to bag either award (and even nicer to bag both!) but against such stiff competition we're really going to need the help of our lovely, lovely readers.
