Brit vampire flick Blood + Roses now available to rent online

From producer-director Simon Aitken and screenwriter Ben Woodiwiss (both of whom will be contributing the forthcoming horror anthology Habeas Corpus) comes Blood + Roses, a new British vampire film which aims to twist the conventions of the vampire genre on its head while returning to the classic romanticism of the mythos.

Have a read of the official synopsis and check out the trailer right here...

"Martin and his wife Jane are taking some time off, trying to put the past behind them. But when they get to their holiday cottage, they find that they're got little love left for each other. Jane attracts the attentions of another man, Seth, a vampire who sees something that he wants in Jane. Jane wants it too, but be careful what you wish for...

"After one night with Seth, Jane undergoes a painful transformation. A change that gives her more than she ever thought possible. A change that opens her eyes to a conspiracy that has been kept secret from her. But to finalise this transformation, Jane must feed. Can she take a life to secure her own? And how about that delightful husband of hers?"

Blood + Roses marks the feature debut of actors Kane John Scott and Benjamin Green and also stars Marysia Kay (Zombie Women of Satan) and Axelle Carolyn (Centurion). It is available now to rent online for just $2.99 from the official website.
