New trailer and poster for Brit thriller Making Ugly

Government cuts are hitting everywhere in the UK at the moment and the British film industry is no different, with the abolition of the UK Film Council and a 15% reduction in funding to the BFI dealing a severe blow to our country's emerging filmmakers. However, that isn't enough to put off first time director Andy Niblo and production company Squarebox Yellow, whose debut feature Making Ugly is currently in the final stages of post-production ahead of a festival run later this year.

We first mentioned the film back in January and now - with the film just weeks from completion - comes word of a brand new trailer which you can check out right here...

"Neil (Paul Quinn) has his habits; he drinks too much and smokes too much. He also kills too many women. In a city of millions, who has noticed? A tape is sent to Neil with footage of his brutal violence. Who has been following him and what will they do with this knowledge?"
