As part of a promotional campaign by holiday rental company HomeAway.com, Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo have reprised their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold for a new 14-minute short entitled Hotel Hell Vacation.
Last seen wreaking havoc in Las Vegas back in 1997, this latest offerings sees Clark and Ellen hit the road again to meet up with the now adult Rusty at his (HomeAway-endorsed) holiday home. Of course in typical Griswold fashion nothing's ever straightforward and after booking into a hotel mayhem soon ensues.
A trailer for the film premiered in the States during the Super Bowl commercials earlier this month and the whole film is available to watch online...

You should also head over to the HomeAway website where you can catch up with some Griswold family videos (or rather, clips from the earlier movies) along with the flash game "Griswold Getaway", which puts you in charge of the famous family truckster.
After a disastrous career slump that began in the 90s, Chevy is enjoying a renaissance of sorts at the moment with a recent Family Guy appearance in addition to his role in the NBC comedy Community. Now let's see him back on the big screen for one last run...
