55th BFI London Film Festival - Day 10 Video Highlights

The Kid with a BikeThe British Film Institute have just released their latest Vodcast, presenting a summary of the key events from Day 10 of the 55th BFI London Film Festival. Highlights included the Sight & Sound Special Screening of The Kid with a Bike, which was attended by its directors, Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne (Rosetta, L'Enfant), along with West End premieres of films such as Take Shelter (dir. Jeff Nichols) and Martha Marcy May Marlene (dir. Sean Durkin), while filmmaker Alexander Payne (Sideways, The Descendants) took part in the second Screen Talk, presented in partnership with American Express.

Take Shelter synopsis: "Plagued by a series of apocalyptic visions, a young husband and father questions whether to shelter his family from a coming storm, or from himself."

Martha Marcy May Marlene synopsis: "Martha, a damaged woman haunted by painful memories and increasing paranoia, struggles to reassimilate with her family after fleeing a cult."
