55th BFI London Film Festival - Day 6 Video Highlights

The British Film Institute have just released their latest Vodcast, delivering a summary of all the highlights from Day 6 of this year's London Film Festival. The main talking point was the Time Out Special Screening of We Need to Talk About Kevin from Scottish director Lynne Ramsay (Ratcatcher, Movern Callar), who was joined on the red carpet by actor Ezra Miller (Californication), author Lionel Shriver and screenwriter Rory Stewart Kinnear. Meanwhile Lebanese filmmaker Nadine Labaki (Caramel) presented her latest effort, Where Do We Go Now?, and cinematographer Barry Ackroyd (United 93, The Hurt Locker, Green Zone, Coriolanus) delivered a Masterclass at the BFI Southbank, which was presented in partnership with Swarovski.

"We Need to Talk About Kevin synopsis: Eva (Tilda Swinton) puts her ambitions and career aside to give birth to Kevin (Ezra Miller). The relationship between mother and son is difficult from the very first years. When Kevin is 15, he does something irrational and unforgiveable in the eyes of the entire community. Eva grapples with her own feelings of grief and responsibility. Did she ever love her son? And how much of what Kevin did was her fault?"

Be sure to check back later today for our review of We Need to Talk About Kevin.
