Howard Hawks' classic sci-fi horror The Thing From Another World celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of its release on April 29th and to celebrate we're giving away a copy of the film on DVD to one of our lucky readers. Based on John W. Campbell, Jr.'s 1938 novella Who Goes There?, The Thing From Another World sees a U.S. Air Force re-supply crew get more than they bargained for when they locate a frozen UFO that has crashed into an ice cap near a scientific expedition base at the North Pole. Finding an extra terrestrial visitor suspended in a black of ice, the team take the visitor back to base, but when the heat from the station melts the ice the explorers find themselves at the hands of a brutal killer from another planet.
