The film sees Radcliffe starring as Arthur Kipps, a young solicitor who travels to a remote village of Crythin Gifford in order to sort the affairs of a recently deceased widow, only to find himself haunted by a mysterious spirit – the 'Woman in Black'.
The Woman In Black marks the latest effort from the revived Hammer Films - whose recent efforts include Let the Right One In remake Let Me In, The Resident and Wake Wood - and fresh off Radcliffe's success in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the first trailer has recently made its way online. The Woman in Black is directed by James Watkins (My Little Eye, Eden Lake) and also stars CiarĂ¡n Hinds (Munich, There Will Be Blood), Janet McTeer (Tumbleweeds, Velvet Goldmine) and Shaun Dooley (Eden Lake, Red Riding), and is set for release in February 2012.
