After the lukewarm reception for last year's Hereafter, Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood will look to add to his recent run of critically acclaimed features such as Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby, Letters from Iwo Jima, Changeling and Gran Torino with his latest directorial effort, J. Edgar. Based on a screenplay by Academy Award-winner Dustin Lance Black (Milk), the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio (Inception) as the FBI's founding father, J. Edgar Hoover, and also features Naomi Watts (21 Grams), Josh Lucas (The Lincoln Lawyer), Armie Hammer (The Social Network), Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Dermot Mulroney (Zodiac), Judi Dench (Casino Royale) and Lea Thompson (Back to the Future).

J. Edgar is set for release on November 9th in North America and arrives here in the UK on January 20th, 2012.
