The British Film Institute are gearing up for the launch of the 55th BFI London Film Festival next month, which runs from October 12th - October 27th and looks set to showcase a grand total of 204 feature films with highlights including The Ides of March (dir. George Clooney), We Need to Talk About Kevin (dir. Lynne Ramsay), Shame (dir. Steve McQueen), A Dangerous Method (dir. David Cronenberg) and Carnage (dir. Roman Polanski). Meanwhile, the festival will get underway with the world premiere of 360 - a romantic drama from acclaimed director Fernando Meirelles (City of God) that stars Anthony Hopkins, Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, Ben Foster and Eminem. Bringing the festival to a close is director Terence Davies' The Deep Blue Sea, which also stars Rachel Weisz alongside the likes of Tom Hiddleston, Simon Russell Beale, Karl Johnson and Anne Mitchell. Check out the BFI's special preview here...
