Forthcoming Attractions - Iron Man II and Tron Legacy

New trailers for two of the biggest upcoming releases of 2010...

First up is Jon Favreau's Iron Man II, the sequel to 2008's smash-hit Marvel adaptation starring Robert Downey Jr. as billionaire industrialist and superhero Tony Stark. This time ol' Shellhead squares off against Evil Russian Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke) - a combination of both Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo from the comic universe - and is joined in his endeavours by a new-look Rhodey in the shape of Don Cheadle. Gwyneth Paltrow and Samuel L. Jackson both return while Scarlett Johansson joins the cast as S.H.I.E.L.D. operative Black Widow.

Iron Man II is released on April 30th in the UK and hits North American screens on May 7th.

Another sequel looking for success this year (albeit, with a considerably bigger gap between installments) is Disney's Tron Legacy, the follow-up to the cult 80s classic starring Jeff Bridges as computer programmer Kevin Flynn. Directed by newcomer Joseph Kosinski, Tron Legacy centres on Flynn's son Sean (Garrett Hedlund), who finds himself pulled into the digital world in search of his father. Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner reprise their roles from the original while newcomers include Michael Sheen, Olivia Wilde and John Hurt.

Tron Legacy is released in Disney Digital 3D on December 17th.
