Catching up with The Collector's Room

Regular visitors to this site may remember a few months back we posted a piece on a new sci-fi anthology show entitled The Collector's Room that was set to debut online back in September of last year. The brainchild of indie filmmakers Daniel J. Brant and Luke Owen, The Collector's Room aims to capture the essence of classic TV shows such as The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits and Alfred Hitchcock Presents through a series of self-contained tales of suspense.

In the four months following its launch the website has grown to include three half-hour episodes - The Last Serenade, Sam and most recent offering The Star – with a fourth episode currently in production and scheduled for a release in March. There’s also a pretty nifty graphic novel entitled Five Minutes along with some behind-the-scenes stuff and info about the making of the series, so head over to www.thecollectorsroom.co.uk to check it out.

Meanwhile Daniel, Luke and episode director Kate Hansell joined Simon and Jo of the Simon and Jo Film Show to discuss The Collector’s Room on a special edition of their fantastic podcast, which you can access here.
