First trailer for independent thriller Making Ugly

Making Ugly is a gritty independent thriller revolving around the dark bonds link seemingly disparate characters and the horrific crimes committed when no one is really looking. Written and directed by Andy Niblo, the film is the debut project from Squarebox Yellow, a newly-formed production company aiming to develop and produce high quality films from emerging talent.

Making Ugly was shot on location in Edinburgh and London over a period of three months on a budget of £7000 (along with an additional £500,000 gained in kind), and is currently in post-production ahead of a theatrical release later this year. Take a look at the first trailer...

Head on over to the official Making Ugly website for more information, including a production blog and a host of screenshots, behind-the-scenes photos and details on the cast and crew.
