The big event yesterday was the American Airlines Gala screening of writer-director Michel Hazanavicius' (

The Artist, with the UK premiere attended by Harvey Weinstein and actors Bérénice Bejo (
A Knight's Tale) and Jean Dujardin (
Lucky Luke). Meanwhile, at BFI Southbank, Makoto Shinkai (
5 Centimetres Per Second) presented the European premiere of
Children Who Chase Lost Voices From Deep Below, while the video also includes coverage of the Filmmaker Tea at the May Fair Hotel.
