Kill Keith, The Reverend and more screening at the British Horror Film Festival this weekend

As you’d expect, the 55th BFI London Film Festival will be getting most of the coverage this week, but for any horror fans out there who can’t wait for Halloween to come around, this coming Friday and Saturday also sees the 2nd annual British Horror Film Festival take place at The Empire in London’s Leicester Square, while the Official Selection will also screen at Bournemouth’s Pavilion Dance.

Things kick off on Friday night with the world premiere of The Reverend, a vampire flick from writer-director Neil Jones (Risen) and starring Stuart Brennan (Jack Said), Tamer Hassan (Kick-Ass), Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), Emily Booth (Evil Aliens), Dominic Burns (Strippers vs Werewolves), Shane Richie (EastEnders) and Rutger Hauer (Hobo with a Shotgun). Meanwhile, on Saturday morning there’s an exclusive screening of Kill Keith – a dark comedy that sees Daytime TV host Keith Chegwin going on a rampage as he tries to kill off UK celebrities such as Tony Blackburn, Joe Pasquale and Vanessa Feltz.
